Ordering

I am wanting to send a box to minor, but the hamper has alcohol in it. Can the alcohol be substituted?

Under the Liquor Control Act 1998 it is an offence to supply alcohol to a person under the age of 18 ( Penalty exceeds $7000), for a person under the age of 18 years to purchase or receive Liquor the penalty exceeds $600. Please ensure the recipient is aged over 18 years and available to receive the delivery.

We can substitute the alcohol for another product or refund the difference once ordered. Please send us an email to hello@boutiquepaperie.com.au with your order number and we will amend this for you.

What if an item in my order is actually out of stock?

All items on the Boutique Paperie website are in stock unless otherwise stated.

If Boutique Paperie encounter an out of stock product in your order, you will be contacted to with change the item for equal or greater value product, or receive a full refund. We will attempt to contact you twice in regards to out of stock items, and if we do not receive a reply, the order will be cancelled and you will be refunded.

I want to order an item, but it is a pre-order. When will my order arrive?

If an item is a pre-order, we will state it in the product name as well as in the desciption. We will also clearly state when the product is due to arrive. Sometimes items don't arrive in the timeframe we hope for, but we will always let you know if there are further delays. If a delay exceeds 10 business days past its due date, you will be updated as to when your order will arrive, or you will be offered a full refund.

I want to order a personalised item. What is the return policy?

Personalised items are not returnable as this was made especially for you. The exception to this is where the item arrives different to how we have described it, or not in good condition, i.e. breakages during shipping. If you have any problems with your order, please email us at hello@boutiquepaperie.com.au, we are only too happy to help as we want our customers to love our products as much as we do!

I received items in my order which is not what I ordered! Help!

We strive to provide our customers with high quality products every time. However, we are human and sometimes we get things wrong. If you have received the wrong items, please email us straight away at hello@boutiquepaperie.com.au and we will rectify the issue immediately. If there are items to be returned to us, we will provide you with a return shipping label to attach to the item to have it returned.

Methods of Payment

We accept secure credit card payments, including Visa, Mastercard and American Express. We also accept PayPal, just follow the prompts at the check out.

Why was my payment declined?

This is generally for one of the following reasons:

  • A decision from your card holder. Please contact your card holder for for information, or;
  • Due to incorrect information. Double check all your card info, expiry and CVV.


How secure is my payment method?

We use Shopify as our ecommerce platform,  which comes with SSL encryption technology to protect your details at checkout, so your details are very safe.

Packaging

How will my hamper arrive?

Boutique Paperie offer two packaging options for our hampers.

  • Small size: Matte finished gift box available in White or Black. The box is filled with wood wool, had a magnetic closure and tied with a grosgrain ribbon bow.
  • Medium size: Matte finished gift box available in White, Black or our exclusive colour, Dusty Pink. The box is filled with wood wool, had a magnetic closure and tied with a grosgrain ribbon bow.

Any breakables, such as glassware or candles, may be bubble wrapped within the hamper to ensure it arrives safely. Each box is then bubble wrapped and shipped in a suitable shipping carton.

I would like my hampers delivered straight to the individual, is that possible?

Yes of course! If this is the case, please order each hamper separately as shipping will need to be paid for each location you are sending to. If it is a gift, please let us know so we don't include any pricing information in the shipping carton.

How are other items packed for postage?

Personalised empty boxes come flat packed and unfortunately do not fit in a box. These get wrapped and then double bubble wrapped before being placed in a satchel.

Boutique Paperie will use their descresion in regards to how other items are packed for delivery. We have quite a bit of experience with this and feel we know how packages are treated during postage, we do our best to prevent damage to our items so they are pristine when you receive them!
